Welcome to the 64th Annual Meeting of the Japan Wood Research Society

The Japan Wood Research Society (JWRS) takes great pleasure in inviting all members of our society with an interest in the science and technology of wood to attend the 64th Annual Meeting of the JWRS that will be held from March 13 to 15, 2014, Matsuyama city, Ehime, Japan. The society members may make oral and poster presentations during the meeting. The symposium and the exhibition of the related companies will also be held.

Presentation Submission

Applications for oral and poster presentations must be submitted online through the Presentation Submission page according to Notes for Submission below.
Both oral and poster presenters must be members of the Japan Wood Research Society unless they are invited to this meeting by the Society.
When you are not a member of the Society, please join the Society online through the Membership Application page and get the membership ID prior to Presentation Submission.

Notes for Submission

• 1. Presentations must be unpublished works on wood and related topics in Japanese or English.
• 2. One and the same presenter is allowed to submit one Oral and/or one Poster presentation(s).
• 3. All presentations correspond to one of following sessions A–R, Y, Z and oral presentations are carried out in a separate room for each session. Sessions Y and Z are Organized Sessions only for oral presentation.

• 4. You are required to enter Abstract (100–300 words) and Key Words or Phrases (1–3 words or phrases) and to upload a PDF file of Short Paper (extended abstract not more than 2 pages). In the proceedings of the Meeting the Abstract are published and the Key Words or Phrases are indexed. The PDF file is saved, as it is, to a CD-ROM attached to the proceedings of the Meeting.
• 5. Short Papers must be prepared using a template file for MS Word according to the instruction in the template and converted into PDF files (not more than 500 kB).
• 6. All names of Author(s) are indexed in the proceedings of the Meeting. Please take care of spelling of each name.
• 7. Names of Affiliation for authors should be abbreviated to popularly accepted ones as short as possible.
• 8. You will get an e-mail of submission including receipt number and password in several minutes after completion of your submission. Please check your submission on the e-mail.
• 9. You can revise or withdraw your submission until the deadline after authentication of your receipt number and password.
• 10. Presentation program is arranged by the Program Committee, JWRS. The committee can change the presentation session and request you to revise your Short Paper. Fixed program will be open online by February 10.
• 11. All presentations are treated as published works at the publication date of the proceedings if you are absent from the Meeting.
