Information described below is valid only for participants registering from outside Japan. When you will join the Meeting from Japan, you are required to register via Japanese web page.

Registration for non-presenters
If you would like to participate in the Meeting without oral or poster presentation, please contact the Secretariat (wood2008@jwrs.org) to register.

Deadline for early registration

  • Early registration: January 18, 2008

Registration for presenters (JWRS members)
Member of the Japan Wood Research Society (JWRS) can present a paper (oral or poster) at the Meeting. If you wish to contribute a presentation, please contact the Secretariat (wood2008@jwrs.org). Application and registration forms are available from the Secretariat.

Deadlines for presenters

  • Submission of application form (with a 100-300 word abstract): December 20, 2007
  • Submission of extended abstract (A4, up to 2 pages): January 18, 2008
  • Early registration: January 18, 2008
Although the official language of the Meeting is Japanese, English is welcomed.

Student 4,000 JPY 6,000 JPY

The registration fees include a copy of abstracts and a CD of extended abstracts, and participation in all the sessions.

Banquet fee is charged separately. Banquet costs 8,000 JPY if you register before January 18, 10,000 JPY after January 19.

Please pay your registration fee and banquet fee at the registration desk by cash when you arrive. The Meeting Secretariat will not accept checks or cash sent prior to the meeting.
